Kaitlyn Fuchs started playing the piano at the age of 5 in Ozark, MO and the harp just a few years later. She continues to improve her skills with each passing day of practice and enjoyment. Recently, she also began playing for others at special events, including weddings, funerals and other special occasions around Springfield. For many years, besides the recitals and competitions she has won, Kaitlyn has loved visiting local nursing homes and playing for the residents at those locations wherever possible around the Springfield Missouri area. Kaitlyn is following in the footsteps of her mom, Sarah, in that the two are now playing all around the Springfield, MO area at recently put up their new website at soundsoftheharp.org to promote their business and passion of playing.
