As one of only a few harpists in Springfield, MO, Sarah Fuchs remembers back on all the memories of playing the harp over the last 30 years at weddings, events, funerals, and other special events. Starting Sounds of the Harp as a business at soundsoftheharp.org on the web was a natural jumping off point for her in Springfield after starting out in Kansas City as a child. Since Kaitlyn, Sarah’s daughter, is following in the footsteps of her mom, the two decided bringing the music of the harp outside the home and to the ears of more people was a logical next step.
